Longer Rafting Trips (Three or More Days)
 Wet Set:
  • Tennis shoes or strap-on sandals
  • 1-2 swimsuits or quick-dry shorts (not cotton)
  • 1 T-shirt (long sleeve is best for sun protection)
  • 1-2 pairs synthetic or wool socks
  • 1-2 pairs synthetic long underwear
  • Sunscreen and lip block
  • Fleece or wool jacket
  • Rain pants and jacket (Alaska only)
  • Wool or synthetic fleece hat (for all spring and fall trips, and all Alaska trips)
  • Wool or synthetic fleece gloves (for all spring and fall trips, and all Alaska trips)
  • Hat for sun protection (w/bill)
  • Bandana
  • Water Bottle
  • Sunglasses w/ retention device
  • Wetsuit, dry suit or like river wear (required only for spring & fall and Alaska trips)*
  • Rubber Boots (Alaska only)*
 Dry Set:
  • Waterproof tent* and ground cover
  • Sleeping bag* and pad*
  • 1 pair long pants
  • 2 pair shorts
  • 2 T-shirts
  • 1 heavy sweater or jacket
  • 1 long sleeved shirt
  • 1 pair camp shoes
  • 1 rain or waterproof jacket
  • 1 rain or waterproof pants (Alaska only)
  • Flashlight or headlamp & batteries
  • 1 synthetic or wool sweater
  • Underwear and socks
  • Insect repellent
  • 1 small towel and toilet kit
  • Large ziplocks for organizing gear
