- What to Bring and Wear
Shorts, T-shirts and sport sandals or tennis shoes are usually
suitable for summer Clackamas River trips. However, the water
is cold and sometimes days can be cool, especially if the
wind comes up. Please bring a sweater and wind breaker or
rain gear in case you do get cold. Synthetic jackets (pile)
or wool sweaters are recommended. All of the above mentioned
clothing will get wet, therefore, be sure to bring an extra
set of clothes for after the trip.
In the spring you'll need all of the clothing listed above
as well as a wetsuit which is provided free of charge by Destination
Wilderness.
